Presentation about HUISA (Hokkaido University International Students Association) has been made by HUISA Executive Committee (2015/2016) for New International Students of Hokkaido University, on 2nd October 2015.
HUISA President’s speech has started with these notes:
“Hello everyone, my name is Alibay Mammadov. I am from Azerbaijan and I am the president of HUISA. This is my 2nd and last year as a President. Please look at this screen. Today we would like to talk about ourselves, who we are, what we are doing? What can we do for you, to make your student life more better and more interesting. What is the purposes and main goals of our organization. I will speak to you very briefly and then my colleagues will introduce themselves and talk about the events which we are organizing.
- HUISA promotes the well-being of international students, encourage interaction and understanding among international students, as well as among International and Japanese students and the people of Hokkaido, Japan.
- Conduct social, cultural, and educational- activities on behalf of and for its members.
- Coordination center for societies concerned with the international students at Hokkaido University.
- Build up a relationship between Hokkaido University and other Universities in Japan and throughout the world.

we organize various events
for international students,
their family, and friends
After president’s speech, Vice-president (Deepu Darshu from India), Public Relation Officer (Mohamed Shehata from Egypt), Treasurer (Qiangqiang Xie from China), Secretary of Sports and Recreation (Zetryana Puteri Tachrim from Indonesia) and Webpage Administrator (Wilfred John Santianez from Philippine) continued the presentation by reviewing our main events and activities.
